Reported Holdings
Use official reserve data to show tonnes and gold share of national reserves.

Gold is a custody map as much as a tonnage table.
Gold reserve tracking must separate three things: how much a country reports, who officially owns it, and where the metal is held. The gap between reported ownership and public custody detail is the intelligence value.
Use official reserve data to show tonnes and gold share of national reserves.
Record whether storage is disclosed domestically, abroad, through a central bank, through a mint, or left unclear.
Track whether there is an inventory statement, annual report, independent audit, internal check or only an aggregate number.
Track public reserve increases, transfers, repatriation statements and changes in reserve share.
Reported tonnes are still useful. Some storage secrecy is legitimate for security. Foreign storage can be practical. The briefing upgrades only when records show custody gaps, audit gaps or major reserve changes.
